Peyton thought this would be fun!

Well, whenever Patrick and I are wondering where Peyton has scooted himself to, we just have to look at the end table! Peyton has been trying to climb into the table for a week or two now, but today, he managed to climb between the table and the couch, then make sharp left and found himself stuck between the table and the wall! He was very upset that mommy went to get her camera, rather than pulling him out! :-)

Yummy!

Well, Peyton had his first biter biscuit the other day and he really enjoyed it! I knew he would make a mess, but for some reason chose not to put a bib on him! I think he took advantage of not wearing a bib and made as big a mess as possible! I can't say I'm upset, because I got some great pictures out of his enjoyment!

Peyton's First Christmas!

We really enjoyed Peyton's first Christmas! He wasn't really into opening presents, but he did like playing with the paper! We opened presents as a family first thing in the morning and then Nana, Auntie Lissa, Uncle Marck, Khayleb, Jayden, Jazzy, and Keyatti came over for breakfast and to exchange presents. Uncle Travis and Danette stopped by too and Peyton did help open his present from them! Peyton was exhausted by all of the excitement and after they left he took a very long nap!

When Peyton woke up we went over to Grandma and Grandpa's house to celebrate Christmas with them, Auntie Erin and Great Grandmother! Peyton was wide awake when we got there and enjoyed climbing all over the presents. He loved all his new toys and clothes!

Peyton really enjoyed his first Christmas dinner of turkey and mashed potatoes! Patrick had a hard time accepting the mess he was making, but I thought it was great! It was a truly wonderful Christmas with family and friends!

Peyton's First Tooth!

Peyton finally cut his first tooth! Thursday night we were visiting Grandmother and he was chewing on her cartouche. She said that she bet there was a tooth in there and when she checked, it was there! She told me that I better put in his baby book that he cut his first tooth on his Great Grandmother's cartouche from Egypt! :-)

We are getting excited for Peyton's first Christmas! He is scooting himself all over the place and into everything already! He loves playing with the presents under the tree and we can't wait to see if he actually will attempt to open presents on Christmas morning!
When we went to have our family pictures taken Peyton was tired and sick, but we did manage to get a smile out of him for his picture with Santa!
